In order to prepare students to become productive and successful members of the community and of society as a whole, the mission of Greene County High School is to develop and educate students to their maximum potential by providing skills and experiences needed for them to become lifelong learners and productive citizens.

Seniors at Greene County High School participated in WOW 2.0 at the TCTA. WOW 2.0 is a partnership between West AL Works and local businesses and industries that provide employment opportunities for graduating seniors.

On February 3rd, Jobs for Alabama's Graduates (JAG) students at GCCC attended the JAG Central District Career Development Conference. several students competed in the JAG Knowledge Bowl and won 1st Place.
